Rental Policies

Reservations:

All reservations will be confirmed upon availability of requested dates and receipt of a $500 deposit on Visa or Mastercard or Debit.

In the case of mechanical damage that might make the availability and delivery of a boat rental impossible, Vernon Boat Rentals reserves the right to switch your reservation to another boat that is available that you the customer agrees to or to cancel the reservation without penalty.

Security & Cleaning Deposit

Upon of the rental of the boat, the reservation deposit becomes the security deposit.  The security deposit will be returned upon the completion of a post-trip inspection and confirmation of no additional charges (eg. damage, loss of equipment, late fees and or cleaning charges).

Rental Times

Cancellations:

The reservation deposit is refundable 7 days prior to rental date, cancellations made after 7 days of the rental date are subject to the LOSS OF THE RESERVATION DEPOSIT OF $500. 

A cancellation fee of $50 applies to all cancellations

No refund is given due to weather conditions (rain, high winds, etc.) at the time of or during a rental period.
Vernon Boat Rentals cannot be held responsible for weather conditions or weather condition issues, unless deemed reasonable by Vernon Marine Ltd.

Taxes:

All rentals are subject to  7% GST and 6% PST, and not included in the rental prices listed on this site.  Foreign visitors are eligible for a rebate of the GST from the Canadian Government, click here to get more information about the rebate.

Pets:

NO PETS PLEASE!
